“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven” -Ecclesiastes 3:1

Happy Mother’s Day to all! May God bless you for the many ways you’ve been a blessing, surround you with the love of those who care so much for you.

It’s my mummy’s first attempt to sew a ring sling. To our surprise, the end product is not bad at all yet presentable, just as what you can see from the picture below (can’t tell about the usability yet :p).
Mummy did some smocking at the gathers around the ring. Although, it’s just simple smocking & sewing, it took her a few days to complete leh… well, what to do, because I’m always so clingy to her lo… notti me ye ;) Good to see that she managed to make it for YiYi’s birthday on Dec 13. Thanks to Aunty Wei-wei for the quick supply of sling rings!

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:11

This is the instruction we follow to thread the sling…

I start to pick up some simple words few days ago. Thanks to Phoebe as her “na-na” motivated me a lot. ;) I called out my very first word “mum” one fine day and I was saying that many times over a minute. My parents were so impressed by that simple thing and all the hugs & kisses came, although they were not really sure if it meant to be calling my mum or call out for food… hehe.
Yesterday, I also amazed my YiPo by calling out “pa” when the phone rang. I called that out loud & long as if my daddy is ‘in’ the phone. ;) I hope my daddy can hear that though…

My mum & dad got married 6 years ago before I came. It was their wedding anniversary yesterday. We did not have a big celebration this year, neither did they exchange present because both of them think that I’m their best present! How privilege I am. ;)

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17 NIV

Anniversary

It was my daddy’s birthday few days ago on 21st. Mummy & I baked a cake for daddy on that special occasion. If you ever wonder how I can contribute to the process of making, this is how I helped out… ;) I’m being a good girl and playing on my own while mummy was busy creaming the butter, beating the eggs, mixing the flour etc… I have given in my full support. :p Although the cake didn’t look as good as what we can get from the store, it’s with all our love & passion.
