What better way to celebrate my 10-month birthday than a sincere prayer… Mummy helps me to say this prayer to begin this day…

Dear Lord, let this day be a reminder to me of all the gifts and blessings I have received from You from day 1. On my day of celebration, I thank You for my life, my daddy & mummy and all of my blessings and ask for the days to come filled with Your presence in my life that I may continue to walk in the light of Your love. In Your precious name. Amen.

Besides, my mummy also bakes me a cake . This round what I get is an eggless choco moist cake with cute moomoo deco. I love it & can’t wait to grab it. Actually, all I want is to squash the moomoo & see how it feels ;) .

Tell you a secret… we had a hiccup for the event, something challenged the perfectness though :p We almost lost all the photos taken of the cakes but the first blur one. My daddy formatted the SD card before completely copying the photos out to the HDD. Fortunately, he is able to recover that using the “Finaldata” program. *phew*

So, what are we up to lately? I was measured 67cm long & weighed 6.8kg on my last check-up that happened 2 weeks ago. I am relatively small, comparing to other kids and that gets my daddy worried. However, my mummy thinksĀ  that is okay as long as I remain healthy & active. She continues to breastfeed me exclusively although I started on solid 4 months ago. They are well pleased with my motor development and a bit worried too :p because I managed to get from one corner to another within seconds. There is quite a bit for them to catch up with me heehee. The latest trick I learn today is to stand on my own without support. I can’t wait to step one BIG step out on my very own. I turn everything into my walker but the legitimate walker a ladder. ;)

As I grow older, I know to appreciate the good food better. My mummy is glad that I have developed a more consistent and predictable eating habit. I love porridge and I can eat porridge that goes with just simply anything. That is a must everyday in order to help in my potty business. So, I would have porridge with either potato, sweet corn, carrot, ikan bilis, ‘chiku’, cabbage, snow peas, etc, twice a day. The green stuff veggie is my favorite, I love any veggie including ‘tau geh’ and winter melon. However, I’m not so flexible on fruits though. I only love watermelon and nectarine. Kiwi & strawberries are acceptable but all the others just turn me off, especially the banana. My daddy said the dislike of banana is something which I pick up from him…hehe. Whenever I feel like eating, I’ll just call out ‘mum mum’ to ask for it.

That is one of the words which I use the most besides ‘papa’. My parents’re wondering at times if I really miss my daddy so much or just call him to bring me ‘gaigai’ (out for a walk). I would say that is for me to know for you to find out lo … ;) My daddy & mummy bring me out for evening walk daily. I’m always so excited about it although it’s the same old route day in day out. Don’t ask me why, it’s just me lo ;)

I enjoy going out with mummy alone too. Recently, I am going to class @ BSF with my mummy every Thursday. This is obviously something I look forward to every week. I wake up as early as 8a.m. every Thursday automatically and get my big & small business done by 8:45. You know what… I can tell that it’s Thursday because mummy usually dresses me up the night before. I always go to bed suisui on wednesday night. ;) Her reason of doing that is not to disrupt my beauty sleep in case I don’t wake up early enough on my own and she can then put me straight onto the carseat but that never happen till now. Although I don’t get to play & study with other little friends, I did enjoy the singing & the discussion together with my mummy. I always try to be a good girl and listen quietly to the Words during the lecture and we have successfully made it through all 5 lessons by now. Mummy is so impressed and proud of me! ;)

Everyday is a new adventure for me :) I’m ever ready to face the challenge with the help & guidance from the Lord!

That’s all for now…till later! Tata!

My papa loves to bake. Lately, he is into this healthy bites! We all love these cookies because it’s easy to make and “zero-failure” and of course it’s sooooo yummy! Although I can’t take it but I just love the aroma so very much.
